Attention Poem by Quincy Moses

Attention

Forgive me father for I have sinned,
Confess thy sins and all will be forgiven;

I told a lie to get your attention
Spat out more lies to put her at ease
I took her to an unholy dimension
Where she embraced my lustful breeze
I inscribed my name in her heart
Made her think my vision is her promise land
And told her nothing can tear us apart
And she falls to the ground at my command
But she is just a figment of my imagination
Remember father, I told a lie to get your attention.
