I love haiku to begin with, but what you have done with this one is over the top.10 (Report) Reply

I feel as if I'm cheating when I comment after so little reading, but I have to admit that you can put quite a lot into three lines Linda Ori. Celtic blood responds to this kind of thing and writes too many words in response too, obviously! Certain echoes never fade in the minds of the myth addicted creatures we are, and you capitalise perfectly on that quality in us. Always ingenious! xxx jim (Report) Reply

Linda, what a wonderful picture this conjures up. I'm a big softie for this sort of thing. Loved it. Thanks for sharing it.

Okay, Ms. Ori you have my undivided attention with the title alone. Yes, I have always been fascinated with this Celtic Legend; is there any truth to it? No one knows for certain, but I'd like to believe in Arthurian legend, moreso the magical, mysterious Merlin who if he really did exist, was one transcending dude. At any rate, ' I heard the reflection of a sound / echoing through my skin...and a distant drum / rumbling underground, gently guides me on; / through my wild heart...whispering to me...the sisters of Avalon.... 'Cyndi Lauper'. (Report) Reply

'echoes through the mists of time' - another spiritual one. I just love this one.
