Awake India Poem by Akshita Bindal

Awake India

Rating: 5.0

Where the mind is without fear and the dread is far away,
here courage is key.

Where garland is not soaked into detachments of hollow hectic calls.
Where truth comes from the breath of youth, where selfishness and honesty fetch for right directions.
Where circular dream of the season has found its way to change the death habit.
Where the mind is fed by a visionary tree, I knee before you 'O' Father.
Again my country needs to Awake.
LET MY COUNTRY AWAKE! !

Sure, Akshata, Tagore wrote: Where the mind is without fear and the head is held high Where knowledge is free Where the world has not bee broken up into fragments by narrow domestic walls Where words come out from the depth of truth .....Into that heaven of freedom, my Father, let my country awake.
