You touched the core of my being
You awakened in me feelings that
I thought could never be.

You believed in me, gave me hope
and all the while were deceiving me
Your greed took from me
I guess your proud of what
you did to me

For days and days I cried
thinking you got the best of me
But as I dried my tears, things
became quite clear to me
yes, perfect I'm not, but strength,
courage, and perseverence I've got....
