'Away Poem by Dislocated Heart

I remember when I was in a state of devastation..
My heart sinking within sad, sorry songs.
I wrote poems like spittin rhymes.
Tryin to get this feeling outta my mind.

Useless,
I buried myself with silly love games..
Found a job,
lost the pain.

I never wanna feel that again..
so the next time around,
I'll keep my heart hidden.
buried 6 feet underground.

Every night I lay awake..
tryin to forget those days.
those nights when we used to laugh and play.

I'll turn my bak now.
cuz today.. its the day..

I'll throw it all away...
