(2) He- Harihara Putra Lord Ayyappan- symbolises the synthesis or the unity of two streams of thought- Vaishnavait and Shaivait. This fine work of literature comes out of your spiritual contemplation, scriptural studies plus your training and research as a Classical Danseuse. Thank you, Geeta ji, for making us familiar with our own diverse culture. Of their loving union was / Born Hariharaputra - The son of Vishnu and Siva / Thelight born of beauty and bliss!

(1) The story about how Sri Ayyappan whom we worship as Lord Ayyappan came into being is both interesting as well as socially very very significant. Besides Brahama (or Brahaman) , the creator of the universe, Shiva and Vishnu are the two most powerful Gods, as per ancient Hindu thought, and have their own devotional following who rate their God superior to the other. It is here that the significance of Lord Ayyappan comes into play.

Part.2 Shiva. Hariharaputra is a powerful combination of Lord Vishnu and Lord Shiva, the indweller and inner ruler of all hearts, the timeless and space less ‘Taraka Brahman', before whom thousands of devotees prostrate with the ardent cry of" Swamiye Saranam Ayyappa" . Good step.
