Ballad Of Old Age Poem by Muzahidul Reza

Ballad Of Old Age

Rating: 5.0

My path is getting narrow
Oh! As old I do grow,
My bones have turned weak
Skin is also wrinkling quick;

I have also got loss of teeth
Words are getting stammered,
Eyesight has turned very blear
Hearing also so short by ear;

I cannot take meal much
Always suffer from disease,
Life seems merely burden
Passing these days harden;

Often I dream the angel
Always by me does circle
I cannot imagine any more
Past and will happen in future;

I may soon and any time die
I always look at the blue sky
Try to imagine the very star
Once to me was so dear.
