The roads are many to walk
And light is seen at the end
Full of flowers and lush greenery
always you wanted to run through
The sudden darkness blocks the way
Pulls you from heading the run
Makes you to slip at every step
No one holds you to guide the way
and the dry tears envelope you
Hands which hold in the darkness
protects you from the demons but
never lead the way out from the dark
You will start to perceive beauty in black
And try to scribble with ink in white
Will it reach to the world of light?
Without moving from this night
part3... : : Hands which holds in the darkness...... never leads the way out from the dark.. Oh! ! One reads these lines with a lump in the throat.. A 100+++
You will have lots of smiling faces around but evil might be lurking within
part 2... Your poem echoes this prophesy of darkness. When you write : : You will start to perceive beauty in black And try to scribble with ink in white: : , I can imagine the teardrops in your eyes... The horror! : : Of darkness at the end of the tunnel..: : Almost losing confidence in life.. : : The sudden darkness blocks the way Pulls you from heading the run Makes you to slip at every step: : And the tears welling in your eyes blocks your vision...
Yes you are write.. Just imagine a blind person, he wish to see light but couldn't
Hi Rini, There is a very famous couplet by Malayalam poet Akkitham Achyuthan Namboothiri: : : Velicham dukkhamaaNuNNee Thamassallo sukhapradham...: : (light is painful, it is darkness that is comforting..)
Thanks Unnikrishnan for reviewing this poem.. Sometimes it soothing to be in dark.. You achieve many things hidding in the dark

It is a brilliant poem Rini, you have astutely depicted on black with beauty. The concluding lines need great perception to answer the question. I quote... You will start to perceive beauty in black And try to scribble with ink in white Will it reach to the world of light? Without moving from this nigh Thanks for sharing.
Thanks Kumar for your comment.. Rini
