因為
種竹只因媽愛筍
栽榕是為子乘涼
六宮粉黛無顏色
十裏荷池溢暗芳
Because
Planting bamboos
because my mother likes shoots
Planting banyas
for my sons want to enjoy the cool
In six palaces
beauties have no colors
Ten miles of lotus pool
overflow the secret fragrances
