Behind Closed Doors Poem by Jayne Louise Davies

My life's been full of ups and downs,
Some days I've laughed,
Some days I've frowned,
Whatever problems come my way,
I've learned to fight another day.
Bouncing back has never been easy,
I've often longed to run away,
For those around so often see me,
Full of smiles each passing day,
I've cried alone when out of sight,
But showed the world I'm oh so strong,
Determined life won't bring me down,
My hope and strength will push me on.
