Being Alone Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Being Alone

Rating: 5.0

I feel bad being alone
As time passes and counting is done
Days seem to be very long
I hate now listening to the songs

I feel inner thrust
I want to see him and it is must
It is just causing me break down
I am loosing grip of my own

I had enough of intoxication
That has proved ineffective excitation
I can not forget him for a second
When I was near I never felt or was so much fond

I know I will have to pull some more days
As he has gone away for us to nicely stay
Some one has to sacrifice for entire family
But in all we females suffer miserably

I know some of the burdens are too heavy
To share effectively and carry
It is great deal to keep everybody happy
Wife is solely responsible and must be ready

Men folks are generally suited
They stand firm and are truly cultivated
Children too take guidance from head of the family
It is really blessed world created by almighty

Feelings well written Diana Robillard-Hoy3 minutes ago I believe English is your second language, or this is a translation. Translations never seem to get the English quite right. I guess I am also more femenist than I thought as well, because I had to fight that to review your poem. Your beliefs are not mine but I defend your right to believe as you wish.Well Done!
