Best Friends Poem by David Harris

Best Friends

Rating: 5.0

When the world goes topsy-turvy,
our mind goes in a spin,
we turn to the people that we call
our best friends.

Those with hands held out,
to guide us on our way.
Those who make us smile,
who are there for us each day.

The ones who make our world,
a brighter place to be.
Those who never turn us away,
no matter how busy they may be.

Our best friends
are everywhere
if we only look and see,
and will never, let us feel lonely.

This is a marvelous poem David, friends are very important and yes for many it would be difficult to be without them. I just lost a very dear friend a short time ago, she passed away, oh yes a very sad time indeed. As the years go by more and more friends will pass and it's difficult to cultivate lasting relationships in the later years. I have many associates and some very good friends, I have one friend that is always there if I need her, I just have to call, we don't see each other often, another one that always wants to talk but I just never seem to have a lot of time to talk on the phone. I find my very best friend, the one I rely on the most that is always there, helping me, listening to me, holding me up, loving me and will never leave me, why He has a precious name also, it's GOD, that's my best friend. I love your poem David very, very much--Melvina--

Friends are so important and without them life is empty.....but it happens and you are just you, 'alone.' So, one best love themselves first during these dry speeds, as dear friends leave PH, one by one by one....Sad so sad....BUT your poem is grand............marci.xo

Yes My Friend, Who understands us more than your best friends.. Who are always with you through it all, and lift you up if you should fall...10
