Just a pretty face
nothing left to feel
wallowing in sadness
nothing she seeks feels real
searching for a home
a place she longs to be
everything is wrong
she cannot replace her sweet pea
she wipes away another tear
she turns and faces her fear
this love can't be replaced
memories will never disappear
she sits in a quiet room
knowing she'll never replace
her once in a lifetime
a love beyond her pretty face
