Beyond Clouds Poem by Manonton Dalan

Beyond Clouds

i was driving this morning
when i looked up cloudy sky
cluster blocking mighty sun
trying to peek through; ember
traffic stop we were staring
some thought rain, sunshine

i want to send birds up flying
colorful balloons and a plane
then i'm no longer seeing clouds
i must have driven to far now
my mind still there dreaming of
of what are you doing out there
