Birthday Balloon Poem by Bernard F. Asuncion

Birthday Balloon

Rating: 5.0

F-irst morn of December
L-ets you wake up early;
O-pening both your eyes,
R-ealizing the dawn's glory.
E-vening shadows disappear,
N-ew day begins to break,
C-rimson ray in the blue sky
E-liminates the heartache.

G-leams from the wide lane
E-rase the saddest plight;
N-o more mist and haze,
G-lints have just left the night.
U-nderneath the heaven,
A-nother blissful big event
L-ets the sun shine so bright
I-n the very special moment.
Z-enith welcomes the beacon, saying good-bye to the moon;
A-s the twilight passes by, I bring a birthday balloon.
