In who can you thrush
O North wind nestled so high

Take your food from the ground

Very beautifully sewn! .. The 1st thought i had was the bird/thrush. However i haven't ever been any good with solving riddles...

A very thought provoking poem. A black eye is often associated with darkness, negativity or distress. The wonderful poem may also refer to a kind of bird. Brilliantly crafted!
