Black Ravines Poem by Uriah Hamilton

Black Ravines

I’ve lost my heart in the starlight
following couples in blue cars in the rain,
the night is lonely with romance unachieved,
dark streets wind into black ravines.

I don’t want to be someone set reeling
by brutal brick-like blows of bitterness.
