Blackberry's Lament Poem by Kewayne Wadley

Blackberry's Lament

Hearts paused as their eyes met
briefly an angel had appeared before his eyes
Would words have meaning if they spoke
Soft laments whispered from the skies above
Caressing skin so pure as the breathes that smiled at such a blessing
Find my heart not in your lap but beside yours as he spoke
Let my strength become the very thing you need if storms should look your way
Assurement that I was made for you
Those lips that've yet to usher emotion to the lips that tremble with your every sigh
Moans that have tasted ecstasy in the realm of the God's
Yet tender to the touch
In the hands that have prayed for you night & day
