Blossoms Of Karma Poem by Joseph Narusiewicz

Blossoms Of Karma

Rating: 5.0

The creature twisted in choice
Pearls of beauty along the quay
Under every womb addiction
Horizons without suns
Moons of indigo incantations
She revels like a jaguar
Crucible friends drink fire
Night shares its doubts
These lit torches of arson
These choices banal as jealousy
Wars create immigrants

We visit Mozambique sculptors
Posterity shines like a demagogue
Broken abstract lines
Color your painting with incest
No return to those French cafes
Portugal fisherman in the deep waves
Narrow roads racing for Spain
Minions of apple trees
Golden yarn the texture of mother
Green forests bright as emeralds
Radiant red fingernails like mystery

Opaque sea of yellow Vermeer
Clouds like angst ridden lions
Rain on the grapevines of Odessa
Charcoal fields of Latonia
Sire your pilgrims of honor
Scintillating edge of Lourdes
Romance the minaret’s of Istanbul
Has your world left you warm?
Her dreams mingle with Prague
Choirs of Vienna
We all are prodigies

Every blade of grass a novel
Your blood sires their ghosts
The fields of blowing amber
The swords of Catherine the Great
Poems of Pushkin recited by the coast
Come my love and ride the crest of life
Your kiss is the crown of jewels
I feel their eyes, their presence
The islands dance like parrots
Our arms are the arms of the garden
We are the blossoms of karma
