Born To Write Poem by Edward Kofi Louis

Born To Write

Rating: 5.0

Born to write,
To write out my mind to the world;
Write, rite, right!
Like the muse of Mr. Wright my neighbour next door;
But, where are the rights of the people around me today? !

Pen and den!
Writing out my mind to the world;
And like Mr. Ben my other neighbour who visits me a lot for help,
Knowing what i am made of.

Born to write!
To learn and understand the Universe;
And, to say thank you: To The Creator Almighty! !
For His Wonderful Works.
Word, world, work!
Respect to my parents who gave birth to me;
And respect to all mankind on earth,
For, WE ARE ONE! Coming out from the same source.

The source of your life,
With your culture today;
The source of my life,
With my culture today;
With languages all over the world!
But, nobody can choose his or her parents;
Because, we were only born to come and know them.

My mind to the world!
With the joy of my heart;
Sending out messages in the name of poetry,
Across the world with my lovely muse.
Coat, goat, boat!
Crossing a river in my village;
As tradition demands from me to meet my people.
