Boundless Outrageousness Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Boundless Outrageousness

Profound is the unending,
Of a boundless outrageousness.
Ignorance.
Displayed in ways,
These days to witness.
Hypnotizing.
And overwhelmingly addictive.

Leaving few psychoanalysts,
Willing to publicly...
Jeopardize their professions.
And careers committed to permit,
A doing to mend and fix disturb minds.
Or be added to a list,
With others who attempted to do this.
Yet refusing to lose,
Their minds to find...
They too have become,
Habitual denying alcoholics.

"Where are you headed?
Looking confident and self assured."

-I have accepted a task,
Challenging.
I have never had before.-

"Great. Where? "

-On the 'hill'.
At the 'Big House'.-

"Good luck.
But please...
Smoke weed.
And don't drink a drop of vodka! "

-You know I don't drink or smoke.-

"Well...
But please...
Call me before,
You go speeding off a cliff."

-Why would I want to do that? -

"Call me.
And only then we'll discuss it."
