Sound asleep in the middle of the night
I dreamed a dream so real
It was the darkest dream i ever had in my
life
And to this day, i don't know how to feel
I was stuck inside an old laundry shoot
Alone in the middle of a wall
With my eyes wide open and totally nude
Afraid to speak, i said nothing at all
Then i felt a little jerk as it came to a
hault
And the shoot opened up it's door
Then a hand took mine, pulled me out as i
faught
Walking barefoot on a concrete floor
There was nothing around me and my body
was cold
And this man spoke not a word
Arrived in a corner, i saw a chain being
rolled
The pounding of my heart is all i heard
A collar was then put around my neck
And that chain was brought towards me
He clipped it on, then turned away and
left
To a room in the distance where a door
meets
I sat down on the cold concrete floor
My body was trembling as i stared
There was a dim lit lamp that i could
see through the door
And him, just sitting there in a chair
The next morning i woke up, i remembered
the dream
It all came back to me very clear
And i knew it was a message being sent
to me
And it was something i needed to fear
I have let some men treat me bad in my
life
But i could never seem to get away
And that dream was telling me to break
the chain and fight
Or i will be bound to abusive men the
rest of my days!
And that dream was telling me to break the chain and fight Or i will be bound to abusive men the rest of my days! A poem of chastity and honour at the peril of life.A sad poem but hope and courage to fight back. Col Muhammad Khalid Khan
And that dream was telling me to break the chain and fight.. That is what every woman in abusive relationship should do to protect their dignity..

I would like to translate this poem
Dreams give us a glimpse of our unconscious mind. It is always is a good thing if we recall our dream and try to interpret it correctly. Good poem.
