Breathless Poem by Eila Mahima Jaipaul

Breathless

Rating: 5.0

I saw my holy man
come in from his stone temple
I touched his soul
when he was meant to touch mine
among the red and white flames
I drank his passion
the wind cried
and tears fell to the earth
but when love called, I came.
I learned the deeper I go
the higher I fly.
You leave me breathless.
