Broken - Poem by Lindz Williamson

Broken,
Shattered,
Scattered,
bottle green pieces
on the curbside
No crazy glue
can put back these shards
porcelain powder
like fine white
bone.
Look close,
and you'll see they've
fractured before.
Damaged goods.
Not for resale,
to be thrown out or
given away
like Trash
