POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
Dictator, at the outset, succumb to greed. We know, power corrupts! Absolute power power corrupts absolutely. So, corruption becomes his ‘business'. He destroys peace and harmony both within ‘his' borders and outside as well. His expansionist interests (to become the sole dictator of the universe) initiate wars. He destroys history, both physically and metaphysically. He ends destroying everything, including himself.
