But God Has No Religion. Poem by Dev Anand

But God Has No Religion.

Rating: 5.0

Today she flies
from Munich to Rome.

She told me:
I want to kneel down
before the pope.

I will tell him
Dear Pope, bless my boy friend
You know he is a poet.
You know he is crazy.
His craziness is my attraction
Please bless him, my dear poet.
I am a hindu.. but God has no religion.

Religion is man made as a way to reach God, but God has no religion! A very sensible thought, Dev!
