But I'M Still Not Happy... - Poem by E.D. French
I got the laptop, I got the phone, I got
The money. I got the grades, I got the
Course. I got the life I wanted. I got the
Camera, the nice air hockey table and
The Dvds. But I'm still not happy.
I got the job, I got the house, I got
The car. I got the clothes, the shoes,
I even got the watch. I got the perfum,
And the great paintings I wanted.
I got everything. But I'm still not happy.
I got everything. But I didn't get you.
I got you the flowers, the chocolate,
The champagne. I got you the books,
The things you wanted- excpet Me.
I got you everything. But I didn't get you.
I'm still not happy, because I don't have you.
