... If you don't look
Like you deserve that desk
You're not going to get that desk.

It seems life is cruel
But this saying
Is all too true:

‘That's the way the world is, James:
If you don't look
Like you deserve that desk
You're not going to get that desk.'

Behind the mask
You should reveal yourself
Behind the mask
You could show them
Your true colours
Your emotions and intelligence
Creativity and motivation,

Life is never fair
You have to do as you dare
You have to show
Your skills and intelligence,
You have to be
Like everyone else
And work hard like you already do,

You deserve all the credit
You don't deserve to be in debit
Of your gains and achievements:
You shall gain it for yourself
And find yourself the hero,

You can know many things
If you're willing to learn,
You can reach for the stars
If you're eager to learn
And show passion
For your hard work,

So do feel pride
And never think yourself less
Because you are in charge
Of your own life
And yourself you shall impress
Along with everybody else,

So go out into the world
Face your working day
And know you are an achiever
Who has a right to be here
And a right to have fun,

So do show your true colours
For you are as beautiful as a rainbow
In the sunny blue sky.
