Can you mute the TV?
Just for a little while?
I don't have a legit reason why,
Except that I find you more interesting.
You're actually quite addicting
Whether you believe that or not.
There aren't any commercial breaks
Or any episodic conquests that are
better than the other.
There is just, well.
You.
If you don't mind an audience of one
Then I'll clap and applaud
Everytime you walk in the room.
The remote of my attention solely
focused on you & the many characters
of your personality.
Constantly leaving then reappearing
In the crinkles of your face.
When you get a moment,
Can you please mute the TV?
Just for a little while?
Better yet, just turn the thing off.
Of all the things that's possibly
On right now.
None of them compare to you.
Even with the sound on
