Cancer Scare Poem by louis rams

She found she had a lump on her breast so she went for a cancer test
The fear was building up inside wondering what they would find.
Millions of women go through this every day and the chances
Of getting it is hard to say.
Mammograms ultrasounds and biopsies are taken and the
Heart of the women is completely shaken.
A microscopic cell that can decide your faith
Was it caught in time or was it too late
You fall to your knees and you pray
"Dear lord take it away"
The doctors call you in the office and the thought
Enters your mind "will they tell me I'm going to die "
But GOD is good he answered your prayers and
Erased all your fears.
Everything is negative it was just a cyst that they found
They cut it out leaving you safe and sound.
"Your body is a temple so protect it"
