God,
anything I'll do
to hold an office
To You I promise!
You see it all
You know it all
I am for real
I'll lie, I'll cheat,
and I will steal
Lord don't get me wrong
I'm not demented
I just want to be
elected!
Θεέ μου,
PERFECT! Oh, how I wish this exact and real " Candidate's Prayer" would appear on all voting ballots! Who knows it might even change politics, forever. This poem is so fantastically written and so on track with reality and the truth, that it will occupy a very special place in the annals of poetic history. In my book and on the subject, it can't be topped! MARVELOUS!
The greatest political satire of all time. It captures the words that describe today's politicians; lie, .cheat.and steal to be elected! Cleverly written as always.
This poem has not been translated into any other language yet.
I would like to translate this poem
Bravo Kostas. Right in the center. There is a theory that the world arose out of chaos. Someone had to make chaos first to create the world and so on. That's why it's not true that the is the earliest occupation. These are certainly politicians. They can be of different occupations.
Nice comment Zoran! Thanks a lot
