Candlelight In Melodious Air Poem by Mihaela Pirjol

Candlelight In Melodious Air

...And the flowers bowed with reverence
Before the first rain: grateful for its freshness,
And unfurled their pearlescent, velvet petals,
In a paradisiacal, floral smile of spectacular splendour
Beneath the moonlight, and the arcade of the sky:
Charming and enchanting the eyes of the beholders,
Whilst the petrichor transcended their spirits
Into a mystique journey of astral reveries...

On the table, three red candles forming an arc,
Appear extensions of a balletic dance of flames,
Casting wavy shadows upon the walls,
Moving on the rhythm of Chopin's ‘Nocturne':
Undulating emotions in an ambiance vibrant with music,
Hypnotizing the eyes, and silencing the mind,
When Love is filtered, and flutters joyfully
Within the human beings' solar plexus...

The surroundings are slowly disappearing,
Replaced by a divine harmony and exuberance,
And the verdant garden, revived with vitality,
Is bearing witness to our union of co-existence:
We are magnification of our spiritual heights!
Entities of light, vibrating on musical frequency,
Reaching the absolute perfection of completeness:
We are Light merging with Rhythm, ad infinitum...

WOW! This poem is wholly convincing and persuasive. It's a combination of wise words and exultant music. If the poem was limited to just one of these, it would still be a worthy poem, but a limited one. But I can only say that because I have your maximal poem in front of me. The poem climaxes with a visionary assertion: WE ARE LIGHT MERGING WITH RHYTHM, AD INFINITUM. LIGHT = Wise Words component; RHYTHM = Exultant Music component. The last stanza can only be described as a mythic realization of your d-r-e-a-m-s!

Loved the poem for its rich imagery, sheer grandeur and the treatment of love where it reaches the pinnacle of divinity.
