Canibalism

Once I heard the word cannibalism
I wondered on the very thought and fact-
I took it as story as fairy tales simply.

I inquired -
Oh! There are some nations after renaissance,
who tried and almost succeeded to guiding them
to cast the light of civilization and culture on them.

Now I find the children roasted as chicken tandur
Being carried to console house, the hospital,
the nations, the creator acknowledged:
they openly declare their mistakes,
calls it is on the process to correct them
so they took the responsibility to bring it back
so prevail and dominate again…

thank God they are learned and acknowledged
and take the full responsibility to compensate them
by increasing the rate of providing bodies small or big
by applying bombs or gas or bullets what fits well.

For the guns, would you like to listen?
It is interesting-they are produced in the same factory.

you have spelled the title word differently (correctly) in the poem's body. console house: i am unfamiliar with the phrase. i'm intrigued by the poem, but i wish i understood it (better) . bri :)

A great poem. This makes the reader aware of such real facts of the world. Human beings will never learn. The Second World War........ its terrible effects on humanity.......... all that we learn in history and in photos we can see it really. Still terror in the name of religion, cultural differences. This world is a mad world. it really affected me when i read your poem dear poet. thank you very much.

Terror, horror! Facing the earth today. Destroying the mirror of peace. Thanks for sharing this poem with us.
