Capsize Poem by Kewayne Wadley

Capsize

Let's sail away on a boat meant for one.
Together we share the same breath.
Yearning to reach eternity.
Forgetting about the season as the ocean sprays across our face.
I love to see you smile as the wind indulges in wave after wave of hair brushing across your face.
Let's search for the smallest island.
After all the smallest things bring the biggest smile.
Let's peer into the clouds.
Strangers to the positions they make as our hearts mimic them in the same motion.
Merely sailing into simplicity.
The tides of emotion change,
Whipping against deep urgency.
The boat grows smaller, as together we breathe the same breath.
Inevitable.
As the destiny of you and I await in the mist of the horizon.
Soon to fall like rain.
In infinite bliss
