i broke a twig of a tree
checking if it is alive
cause neighboring pines
are drying quick lately
must be worms eating core
causing slow death, sad

maybe somebody is creating
disease that only protected
plants can survive, unfair
i love watching healthy tree
it gives me that happy feel
a breath of fresh; one thing
