Carry On Poem by M.J. Lemon

Carry On

Rating: 5.0

A radial-ply pushed
against the curb
pressing down on
Davy Crockett hat

A muster of crows
heads bobbing politely
a rhythmic oil derrick
drilling rigs decked out

I see their
formal evening attire
dining on marinara
meaty, succulent

roadside pleasures

A muster of crows heads bobbing politely and this amazes us. Reading your this brilliant poem we feel very happy. Their formal evening and formal evening attire we see and feel. This poem is excellently penned with much beauty.

Many thanks, Kumarmani. As I look out the window, I see the crows returning...

The Kerouac connection with M.J.: both brilliant acute observers! In addition to his phenomenal memory, Kerouac used a technique called " sketching" to assist him with recording his observations.
