Cherish The New Year Poem by Bernard F. Asuncion

Cherish The New Year

Rating: 5.0

C-herish the new year,
E-arly first of January;
C-ount the past blessings,
I-nstead of being
L-onely.

S-o cherish the new year,
A-fter the last and final day;
N-ight has just passed by,
G-one into the blue and gray.
U-se the fresh morning,
E-vening shadows disappear;
Z-one of dawn is shining,
A-s you cherish the new year.
