Childhood Remembering Poem by james watkin

Childhood Remembering

Rating: 5.0

Other lifetime's echoes must these be!
If not pre-life's - fainter to believe!
Whose leapt-for-joy tone does this sense of
Its wondrous otherness achieve.

A square block into a round hole.
A frolicking boy into disquietude.
Its hard to live up to a simile
Strange bedfellows that include!
