Christmas Angels Poem by DM W

Christmas Angels

Christmas angels are both young and ancient.
They embody joy, wonder and winged Love.
For them the centuries are mere moments
In Eternity. They perceive the doves
Of real peace and the rabid dogs of war.
They praise the former; the latter they lament
They attempt to open the closed heart's doors,
In a dark world of division and dissent.
They observe all sinners as they repent.
They flow through Time like miraculous blood.
They are truly holy and heaven sent
When they finally descend from above,
On that profound winter evening; dressed
In a greater light, they're gentle as doves.
In children's snow white dreaming, they are blessed.
They embody joy, wonder and winged Love.
