City Of Lights (Incomplete) Poem by Kewayne Wadley

City Of Lights (Incomplete)

Her eyes glimmered in the sparkling lights.
As I've yet to witness an eclipse so beautiful.
it revealed the true color of her eyes.
A tanish brown so wondrous.
Filling the room with awe.
I grew deaf momentarily.
Drowning out the rest of the sounds in the room.
A small city to explore.
The look of her eye.
I wonder the depth of each street behind them.
Where they'll lead.
If indeed they'll welcome a tourist with the kindest glance.
The night grows longer.
The light now becoming the moon, shone in her eye.
This urge grows. Warm in nature.
Hands now jittery. As this anxiousness surges down my legs.
A bold claim to flirtation.
Getting to know her.
In A logical sense.
Suddenly it feels like I can't move.
Caught in the trance of light that sparkles against her eyes
As it feels like the world has stopped staring into her eyes.
