Clare Sonnet For Love Universe
I need to reach your thinking wave universe
When love is a river and weaves through the verse.
We are man and woman made by God from clay.
Maybe this clay will be cosmic dust someday.
Maybe from the same sun cooling could be made
The planets Venus and Mars with their green jade.
I want to save this love from its growing shade,
A tall tree that by the karmic winds is swayed.
Your soul is a Norse verse composed by a Skald
Who keeps the sunlight in his heart emerald.
I hide the suffering between rain and tears
And the tender moments through the loving years.
