Clockwise Poem by Evelyn Judy Buehler

Clockwise

Rating: 4.5

gold pink orange dawn
rise up refreshed in sunshine
like a fragrant bloom

in torrid noon hour
emerald green and jaded
birds sing to summer

reds mauves turn dusky
shadows lengthen into night
glimmering moonbeams

midnight of dreaming
diamond stars are twinkling fire
music in the night

Brilliant presentation of the magnificent colors of day and night. Beautifully crafted and depicted. Your imagery made me at close range with the marvelous colors! ! ! Five Stars!

A beautiful poem with an apt title, describing a full day and night clockwise. Loved some of the lines, like: 'Gold pink orange dawn rise up refreshed in sunshine'..... 'birds sing to summer'..... 'shadows lengthen into night'.... 'diamond stars are twinkling fire'.
