Cockroach -Κατσαρίδα
What a curse has fallen upon us
What a bad turn of events
Worthless is our wealth
Stained by the damned shame
The poor people 's hero
The flagshipof our fleet
Oh by the eagle 's wings
He's terrified by a cockroach
running around his feet
Μα τι κατάρα τούτη
και τι άσχημη τροπή
Άχρηστα τα πλούτη
τα λέρωσε η ντροπή
Ήρωας του φτωχού λαού,
του στόλου η ναυαρχίδα
Μα τα φτερά του αετού!
Τρέμει μια κατσαρίδα!
And of whom the Americans are so prude to have cut it to half from cockroach to just roach! But a cockroach is a great survivor and fighter of its environment, a great fighter too. It's only fit that even braves are afraid of it. Fine humour.
