Colors Poem by Nikunj Sharma

Colors

Rating: 4.5

Colors and colors around
Colors I see, colors surround
Colors speak a colorful sound
The breath they take are colorful too
My life seems colorfully true

Colors in my home, colors on the way
Colors in the sky and colors in the bay
A colorful sun changing shades
A colorful moon too, in cloudy escapades
Colors of wind, not to be seen
Only a colorful blip on your mental screen

So many colors and colors true
I got painted through and through
Colors flying and cutting loose
Around my neck a colorful noose
choked to death unable to breathe,
I lay on a colorful mat, under a colorful wreath.

A great romp exploring where color is found. I particularly liked 'a colorful blip on your mental screen' Wonderful rhyme too! The ending is great too as it gives the reader a different perception to take in! 10 Karin Anderson
