Colours Of My Life Poem by Soumili Karmakar

Colours Of My Life

There comes a beloved day when we realize;
Life is fresher in our own benignity of heartbeats
Living in a world crafted by viridescent colours of leaves.

Colours, that may seem too bright for some eyes
Colours, that may seem too pale and withered
As waves on a sunshine ocean strives.
Leaves that breathe with the stirring of winds,
Lives that survives while watching the great sunrise.

We choose, we live afar in corners of many gentle hearts,
We become acquaintance with thousands of colours that reflects our identity in secluded fairies arts.

Figuring no blank space, but only finding crimson and glint edges of pages after pages,
Complied with recurring magic spells, appertaining fidelity inclined to avert exploded prosecution in some of our seasonal frames.

Last April, I merged my path with your's
Adjoining hills could sense the awaited celebration
That was to take place after years of tears in surviving hours while defeating fears.
Even after goodbyes sounded like wondering in a day of spring to see you, not letting it go again, just to find an evening's eloquence in memories spend on amends to understand the promises of showers that was true as the morning breeze in cheers.

As our universe was discovered, winds passed still
The image on my heart's canvas is about a source,
Filling parings of lives and home in all its evergreen dreams.

I close my eyes to surround my heart in colours of blue skies,
Clouds and rainbows' casting words as luminous dispersing beyond the praying dais;
With starburst's smooth purple and gold
Our hearts did rise, confiding winters in Summers breaths
As southern winds tale was long to be told.

In space we witnessed layers of miraculous quests complete, amidst the zenith was at its best standing among cherry trees in mist.
I watched the beauty of you in eyes sadness, where lips smiled and heartbeats parted.
Souls enriched the region of delight,
Everytime it rains, the sky's horizon wraps colours and reserves your name as my life.
