If only for a moment
we could stop to listen
to a flower's story
with own heart!
Unfortunately
most of us
could barely spare
one glance.
Hopefully
one day
we will stop our run
sit tight, find out
how to connect,
how to listen,
to the many beauties
of our planet.
I tried it too,
from a tiny flower
an irresistible
simple message heard:
'Come along! '.
You are right, Elena. 'We have no time to stand and stare', in the process we miss out on enjoying Nature of which we ourselves very much a part. Nice write.
The blooming flowers, the setting sun, the blue sky, the green Earth... all these remind us that there is so much beauty in Nature, if we just stop and watch. But in our sick hurry, we shrink to our own inner self and everything lies unobserved (as Wordsworth complains) as to 'a blind man's eye' Enjoyed this lovely poem and the message it imparts! !
Elena, What is evident in the beauty of your words and their poetic expression is that you have found the doorway to this life's true purpose... that purpose being to cease our travel's hast toward the next world and in so doing to dally in this one with an enjoyment of the beauty that surrounds us... touché to you my dear poet.
thts a great work. it seems that you are more atta ched to nature rit

Yes, Elena, we need to look hard at the beauty all around us, and take it into our hearts rather than just forget what we have seen. A lovely poem.
