Internet Poem by Elena Sandu

Internet

Rating: 3.9

Society keeps building cities
to stop the nature create
poets and artists
on a conveyor belt.
But, the poets and artists
These days will come out
faster than any factory
as we've got this
free thing,
called:
Internet.

Tyranny has always wanted to create a society of zombies and in the Middle Ages they succeeded with the feudal system But the creative spirit in man is stronger than all tyrants. And as long as there are poets and artists, spiritual freedom will survive. The Internet is a wonderful tool. Thank you for writing this poem to remind us.

Thank you so much for your generous comments, dear loving poets and artists! I am humbled and overwhelmed by the great luck of being chosen as a poem of the day, yet also grateful for every word, please keep sharing, I hope my poem conveyed one of my soul's thoughts that of the need for people to keep sharing: every creation is adding the least one nickel to our freedom, a treasure which hopefully will enrich our human world towards the so long needed changes.
