Comfort Zones Owned Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Comfort Zones Owned

No one can claim,
To have comfort zones owned.
Or a place to go totally unaffected,
By the goings on of heightening tensions...
Practiced and condoned.
Whether or not this is conscious.

And those under suspicion,
Seeking to cease dilemmas.
Are those outspoken with no hidden agenda,
But are accused to be nonconformists...
Expressing negativity to spoil those with delusions,
Holding on tightly to them with a wish they are kept.
