Coming To A Standstill Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Coming To A Standstill

Life being hit and, at times, shattered from without,
no reasons ever given.
Standing in solemn silence, wondering what has
happened we come to a standstill, not knowing
which way to turn, so we enter ourselves and shut
out the rest of the world.
