Seen under starlight
by dim moon light
he is a precious sight
Before me he is seen
my heart grows keen
but I am sixteen
Bright colors fade
but my mind is made
into danger I wade
Forever we commit
together we fit
for life he's been bit
I see him the next day
and he looks at me to say
together forever with you, no way
'I see him the next day and he looks at me to say together forever with you, no way' - wonderful! After a long time I have read a poem of yours and I like it. Simplicity is its beauty, but the Poet's Note at the end left me confused about the committed love of the duo.
Hello poet friend Darlene. I went back to one of your older poems. I loved the piece, but the end was the kind of ending I really like, takes one by complete surprise! Great poem! Loyd
love in real heart, not just as all eyes and laws against but the real one that comes within and nothing to place it more than make it happen

A reality-inspired literary gem...tacitly spun with such a daintily pearly taciturnity as to leave the consumer well tolerably entertained and sufficiently informed alike. It seems you're no longer weaving poetic nuggets as frequently as you did some whiles ago. It happens - I penned less than 5 poems between 2016 and late 2018... Been battling that infamously languid thing - the so-called 'writer's block'?
